As to the author’s identity, he directs the reader “thusly”:
“Who are you?”
“No one of consequence.”
“I must know.”
“Get used to disappointment.”
However, the author is comfortable saying a few things about himself.
First, the author is a Millennial (boo, hiss!) lawyer (double boo, hiss!), and formerly worked at a “white shoe” international law firm (triple boo, hiss!) before “retiring” to a national law firm.
Second, believe it or not, the author has extensive persuasive writing experience. The author’s written work has appeared in various newspapers, online publications, and an academic journal over the past decade.
Third, the author has been politically engaged since he was a young teenager. Since 2016, however, the author has become extraordinarily disenchanted with partisan politics.
Fourth, even though you should never believe anything on the Internet, the first three facts are true.
On a final note, although this blog is purportedly “anonymous,” the author has been assured there is no such thing on the Internet. Therefore, the author gives the following disclaimer:
The statements and views expressed in this blog, and all postings on this blog, are my own and do not reflect those of my law firm. They are intended for general information purposes only, and do not constitute legal advice or a legal opinion.
